How the data is made
An automated pipeline reads Wikipedia’s law-by-country articles and sorts each country into one of a few categories per law. Where the article has a table, the category is read straight from it; where it is prose, a language model classifies it and the result is checked against hand-verified reference countries before it can be published. Each entry records which of those happened and links its source.
